The Administrative Assistant provides for all clerical support and administrative organization for Community Access Services (CAS) The Administrative Assistant reports directly to the Executive Director and works closely with them in reviewing and handling matters related to the above mentioned functions. As part of the Essential Functions for this role, the Administrative Assistant:

· Provides customer service to clients and visitors, answer telephone calls and processes mail

· Enters program data into databases to facilitate accurate and timely reporting to the agency’s funders

· Develops and implements improvements in general office systems and procedures ensuring consistency and efficiency in the office;  Assists staff with logistical aspects of preparation for programs, meetings and special events

· Coordinates and maintains statistical data on housing assistance programs and inputs data into database systems

· Maintains complete and accurate client and program files in compliance with agency confidentiality policies and grant requirements; enters all required data into electronic reporting system

Qualified Candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED with two (2) years of experience providing front office support; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidate must demonstrate ability to communicate clearly and professionally in writing and verbally, ability to type data and information accurately and completely, and ability to multitask. Sensitivity toward cultural diversity, HIV/AIDS and lifestyle and addiction issues essential.
