The Administrative & Data Assistant provides clerical and organizational support to Southern Tier staff. As part of the Essential Functions for this role, the Administrative & Data Assistant:

· Provides customer service to clients and visitors, answers telephone calls, and processes mail in conjunction with other front desk staff

· Assists staff with logistical aspects in the preparation of programs, meetings and special events

· Collaborates with staff on production of the Association’s newsletter and on providing updated information for the Association website as needed

· Orders and maintains an inventory of all office supplies, program incentives and promotional items in conjunction with the front desk staff

· Serves as liaison with departments regarding equipment service contracts; participates in office equipment problem identification and resolution in conjunction with the front desk staff

· Ensures consistency and accuracy of data entry.  Serves as the trainer and resource person for staff using systems, and liaises with the Information Systems department on data management issues

Qualified Candidate will have an Associates degree with two (2) years of experience in an office setting or equivalent experience. Candidate must be able to communicate clearly and professionally in writing and verbally, and demonstrate ability to work across multiple departments. Candidate must demonstrate familiarity with computers and MS Office software (Outlook, Word), effective time management and organizational skills and keen attention to detail. Ability to maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) in a confidential manner required. Sensitivity toward cultural diversity, HIV/AIDS and lifestyle and addiction issues essential.
