The Database Developer is responsible for assisting the Director of Database Systems in the data management, data investment guidance, security, and process improvement of Data and Database Systems for the Evergreen Association.  The Database Developer will assist in the construction, documentation, and maintenance of Data Marts and the Association Data Warehouse. As part of the Essential Functions for this role, the Database Developer:

· Builds, deploys, schedules, and monitors SQL Server Integration Services packages

· Participates in the development and implementation of Association-wide objectives related to data assets.  Coordinates needs from all Centers and departments; develops systems to meet those needs from an agency-level perspective

· Assists the Database Systems Coordinator and database staff to define, design and build database backup/recovery and maintenance plans using Microsoft SQL Server

· Provides periodic progress reporting to management for the Pharmacy at Evergreen

Qualified Candidate will have an Associates degree in related field with two (2) years of experience with data analysis and reporting, and one (1) year experience developing queries and reports in SQL Server Reporting Services. Candidate must be competent writing SQL queries and demonstrate strong knowledge of relational databases and data warehouse concepts. Candidate must be able to communicate clearly and professionally in writing and verbally, and demonstrate minimum three (3) years experience with MS Office software (Outlook, Excel, Access).  Candidate must demonstrate time management, organizational skills, and ability to work independently. Sensitivity toward cultural diversity, HIV/AIDS and lifestyle and addiction issues essential.
