The Executive Director for Community Access Services is responsible for supervising and coordinating the programs and activities of the organization and its grant-funded programs. 

As part of the essential functions of this role, the Executive Director:

· Develops and implements work plans, goals and objectives targeting special populations as designated by grant funding requirements

· Develops general business plan to carry out specific goals of the Evergreen Association for Eastside Location; Identifies potential areas for new business growth

· Hires, supervises, evaluates and fires staff

· Ensures agency compliance with funding requirements including data collection, monthly reports and client records; Ensures timely financial reporting and recordkeeping in cooperation with staff/contract financial services; Participates in an active program of grant writing in partnership with the Associate Vice President of Grants Management

· Develops strong relationships with community agencies and leaders for the distribution and promotion of program services, materials/events and coordination of educational/training programs; Delivers outreach and educational services at various venues targeting high risk populations

· Provides the President/CEO, direct supervisor and Community Access Services’ Board of Trustees with timely and regular reports on the progress and development of agency programs

· Serves as the official representative/spokesperson of Community Access Services as guided by their direct supervisor and AVP of PR, Marketing & Events

· Supports and participates in activities of the Community Access Services’ Board of Trustees as directed by their supervisor; attends Board meetings and provides staff support to appropriate committees

· Develops, implements and supervises appropriate community programming in coordination with affiliates

Qualified Candidate will have an Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or Business Administration (Master’s preferred) and two (2) years of related experience in a supervisory position, preferably in a non-profit setting. Candidate must be able to communicate clearly and professionally in writing and verbally, demonstrate familiarity with computers and MS Office software (Outlook, Word) and effective time management and organization skills. Sensitivity to HIV/AIDS, addiction and LGBT issues essential. Candidate must have a valid NYS Driver’s License and an insured, dependable car for work-related travel to off-site locations.
