The Administrative Assistant/Receptionist is responsible for all receptionist functions within Evergreen Health’s Center for Care Coordination. As part of the Essential Functions for this role, the Administrative Assistant/Receptionist:

· Serves as the front desk receptionist for the Care Coordination center within Evergreen Health; Provides excellent customer service in a professional and friendly manner

· Screens and fields phone calls

· Maintains patient waiting area; Ensures waiting area is clean and supplied with coffee and materials at all times

· Maintains chart room and upkeep

· Maintains and secures confidential records and inquiries

· Processes all incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries

· Assists clients as needed (e.g.: translation services)

Qualified Candidate will have an Associates degree in Secretarial Science and two (2) years of experience as a secretary, receptionist or other clerical position preferably in a non-profit setting OR equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Candidate must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English and Spanish. Candidate must be able to communicate clearly and professionally in writing and verbally and demonstrate familiarity with using copiers, postage machines, computers and MS Office software (Outlook, Word). Typing skills of 35 wpm with no more than two (2) errors in three (3) minutes. Sensitivity to HIV/AIDS, addiction and LGBT issues and ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultures and socioeconomic conditions essential.
