The STI Office Assistant provides clerical and administrative support to the Testing and Sexual Health department. The STI Office Assistant serves as receptionist for the STI (Sexually Transmitted Infections) Clinic, providing customer service while handling incoming calls for the Testing & Sexual Health department. The STI Office Assistant will also check patients in and out of EMR systems, handle verifications, keep track of supplies and screen visitors.
Qualified Candidate will have a High School Diploma, or (preferably) Associates degree. Candidate must have prior EMR experience, be able to communicate clearly and professionally in writing and verbally, possess excellent organizational and time management skills, and demonstrate personal integrity and responsibility. Sensitivity to HIV/AIDS, addiction and LGBT issues essential.
