(Sexually Transmitted Infection) testing is an important part of your routine medical care. STI’s are a common medical issue that many people don’t think to get tested for because they don’t have visible symptoms or because of the stigma surrounding STI’s.
Getting tested regularly, even when you don’t have symptoms, can prevent transmission to your community and other health complications due to STI’s.
Testing is quick and easy at Evergreen, and nobody is turned away for lack of funds. You can always count on our team to be non-judgmental, affirming, educational and understanding.

April 28 – May 2 is Patient Experience Week. This week we’re celebrating all the people who create an outstanding patient experience for our patients: from nurses and physicians, to support staff and executive professionals, to patients, families and the communities we serve.
Follow Evergreen on Facebook and Instagram to see how we’ll be celebrating.
If you haven’t scheduled your yearly physical yet, reach out to us today to make an appointment. Your yearly check-up is the best chance to check in on your overall health and well-being.

International Children’s Book Day (ICBD) is celebrated to inspire a love of reading and to call attention to the importance of children’s books. At Evergreen, we participate in the Reach Out and Read Program at our 800 Hertel location to make sure all the pediatric patients we serve (and their families) have access to books.
We welcome donations of new or gently used books for all ages to provide a wide selection for children as well as their older siblings and/or parents. If you have books to donate, please drop them off at the collection bins located in the lobby at our 800 Hertel Ave location.
