Dining Out For Life 2024: a fundraiser for HIV services at Evergreen Health

September 17, 2024

Dining Out For Life (DOFL) is the most rewarding meal you’ll have all year. DOFL is a fundraising collaboration between Evergreen Health, restaurants throughout Western New York, and diners like you, that supports services for people living with HIV.

HIV is a treatable chronic illness that requires lifelong care, and through medication and supportive services, people with HIV can live full, healthy lives.

Dining Out For Life raises over $4.5 million for HIV care each year, and last year our Western New York chapter of DOFL raised over $100,000 to support people living with HIV right here in our community.

All you need to do to support Dining Out For Life is to dine out at a participating restaurant on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, and the restaurant will donate a generous portion of your bill to HIV services at Evergreen. To see the still-growing list of restaurants participating in DOFL 2024, visit diningoutforlife.com/city/wny.

Evergreen Health has been a leading provider of HIV treatment, prevention and supportive care since 1983. With help from HIV services at Evergreen, people living with HIV throughout Western New York are able to live full, healthy lives.

40+ years of unconditional care for people living with HIV

Evergreen Health, founded in 1983 under the name AIDS Community Services, has been providing unconditional care to underserved communities for more than 40 years. We started as a small but mighty team of volunteers who gathered in 1983 to support Western New Yorkers who were affected by the then-emerging HIV and AIDS crisis.

Today, Evergreen continues to provide unconditional care to people living with HIV and to our entire community, and we couldn’t do it without your support. Every donation made through Dining Out For Life, or donated directly to HIV services at Evergreen, improves the lives of people right here in our community – we thank you so much for your support.
