Did you know that Community Access Services (CAS), an affiliate of Evergreen Health, is honored with its own day in Buffalo each year?
CAS Day is celebrated each February 7 in the city of Buffalo in honor of the work CAS does to empower communities of color. CAS Day also takes place on Black HIV and AIDS Awareness Day, a day that has been commemorated in the United States since 1999 to acknowledge how HIV disproportionally affects Black communities.
You can learn more about CAS at caswny.org or give them a call at 716.852.5969.
Every February in the United States is Black History Month, an event celebrating and honoring the ongoing contributions of Black Americans to American history. Evergreen is proud to celebrate the Black leaders and teammates in our organization, as well as the Black patients and community members who have entrusted us with their care.
