Get Involved

The success of our services depends on the ongoing support of our donors, volunteers and friends. There are many ways that you can get involved to help us foster healthy communities throughout Western New York.

Donate

Donations to Evergreen help us continue to provide critical help to the thousands of individuals in WNY who depend on our services, which include primary medical care, HIV and STI testing, care management, counseling, prevention education, housing, nutritional assistance and much more.

Volunteer

As an organization founded on the hard work and commitment of just five volunteers, our appreciation of your willingness to serve the community is immeasurable. Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteers@evergreenhs.org to learn more about the volunteer opportunities available.

Support

The services that Evergreen provides to people who otherwise couldn’t afford them — like primary and mental health care, and supportive services like housing, care coordination and chronic illness care — are in danger of losing funding. We’re putting out a call today for your support.

The 340B program that lets community health centers in New York fund many of their services is proposed to be cut from the NYS budget. If Governor Hochul decides to go forward with the 340B carve-out, there will be devasting health outcomes that will affect at-risk patients the most, and devastating economic consequences for Evergreen and other community health centers in WNY.

Evergreen is leading a collaborative campaign with our region’s community health centers called “Leave 340B.” Our goal is to influence Albany decision makers to do the right thing and reverse the 340B carve-out.

We don’t turn people away from getting the health services they need, and we don’t ever want to. If you want to support our continued efforts to provide health care to all who need it, please:

  • follow @Leave340B on Instagram and Twitter and share the campaign with your friends and followers
  • visit leave340b.org and tell us how 340B lets you be
  • share your voice. Ask Gov. Hochul to protect our most underserved communities and repeal the 340B carve-out
