Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable and treatable cancers when it’s detected early through regular screening and prevented by vaccination.
If you have a cervix, ask your primary care provider when you’re due for your regular cervix screening and/or HPV (human papilloma virus) screening.
Anyone can protect themselves and their community against cervical cancer by getting vaccinated against the form of HPV that leads to cervical cancer. The vaccine is recommended for kids of any gender to receive at ages 11-12, but can be administered up to age 45. Ask your primary care provider for more info about the HPV vaccine.
Evergreen Health, the Pride Center and Community Access Services will be closed on Monday, January 20 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We will reopen for normal business hours on Tuesday, January 21.
